Description
Chronic stress not only impairs our daily function but, more importantly, it does lasting damage to our brains as it kills brain cells in our hippocampus. That means when you're not feeling stressed anymore, the damage has already been done. In this course, you'll learn a number of strategies you can use to combat stress before it causes lasting damage. First, you'll analyze stress, where it comes from, and what it does, before diving into different ways of dealing with stress and specific strategies you can use to defeat stress. This course is led by Gregory Caremans, a psychologist with a Master's in communication and current Director of the Institute of Neurocognitivism in Brussels.Instructor
